1 – Grapes: Varietals – Blend
The Super Tuscan Blend Style! Sangiovese (from 4.500 vines) 50% of the must, Merlot (6.000 vines) 50% of the must For a total quantity of 3.500 bottles.
2- Winemaking
Tank fermented, at 28˚C to 30˚C, medium to long maceration average 18 to 25 days, with early autumn malo -lactic, mild filtration and stabilisation, very low sulphur content… 12 month ageing in French oak barrels, 1/3 new, 1/3 2nd wine, 1/3 3 rd wine… Barreling from spring to spring! Light filtration
3- Tasting Notes
Robe Deep purple, with a good concentration Nose 1 st nosing fruity scents, red fruits fused with spicy notes, 2 nd nosing dried plums, coffee and tobacco notes… Palate Mild tannins, supple, graceful, creaminess and roundness
4- Serving Temperature & Hints
18˚C to 20 ˚C to present better its tannins/ acidity structure. Big occasions wine! Main courses companion, would really surprise with the Sangiovese maturity and ripening.
5- Decanting
Recommended for some 50 min
7- Aging Potential
Long keep in cellar 7 to 9 years in a cellar, to witness a good and continuous evolution.
