Darmmess Lebanese Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes exclusively from Deir Mimas, South Lebanon.
A small village of pristine beauty and authenticity, overlooking the Litani River, the neighboring Beaufort Castle built by the Crusaders, and the historic Monastery of Mar Mema.
This hidden gem is a cherished destination for tourists and is home to 6,000 residents, 130,000 ancient olive trees (up to 2,000 years old), four olive mills, and six churches.
Nestled among the hills, Deir Mimas is covered with majestic olive trees dating back to Biblical times. It is also blessed with white soil naturally rich in clay, a temperate climate, and an average elevation of 580 meters.
Deir Mimas is commonly referred to as the “Bordeaux of olive oil” in Lebanon.

“Born and raised in Deir Mimas, I grew up observing the magic and mystery surrounding our EVOO. The harvest season was and still is a time of joy and reunion for us. It is a festive month. I consider this heritage a blessing. As time passed, I felt that sharing this treasure with the rest of the world was a responsibility I owed to my country, my village, and my family.” – Rose Bechara Perini

Darmmess was developed for a niche market of medium-intensity EVOO. Rich and very well-balanced in terms of flavor, between the pungent (5.6), the bitter (5.9), and the fruity (5.8). It pleases all taste palettes.
Darmmess is proud to be the only traceable Lebanese EVOO. Under the bottle's lot number, you will find the initials of the farmer, the exact harvest date, and the name of the plot.
